Key Irish Tax Deadlines: July 2026

While every business has different filing obligations depending on its structure and accounting periods, July includes important Revenue deadlines that businesses should be aware of.

14 July 2026

  • PAYE, PRSI, USC and LPT monthly return and payment for June 2026 (extended to 23 July for businesses filing and paying through ROS).
  • Quarterly PAYE return and payment for the period April to June 2026 (also extended to 23 July for ROS users).
  • Dividend Withholding Tax (DWT) return and payment for June.
  • Professional Services Withholding Tax (PSWT) monthly return and payment for June.

19 July 2026

  • VAT 3 Returns and payments (where applicable), including monthly, bi-monthly, bi-annual and annual VAT filers.
  • Businesses submitting through the Revenue Online Service (ROS) generally benefit from an extended filing and payment deadline of 23 July 2026.

23 July 2026

  • Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) monthly and quarterly returns and payments for businesses within the construction sector.
  • Corporation Tax preliminary tax payments for accounting periods ending in August 2026.
  • Corporation Tax returns and balance payments for accounting periods ending in October 2025 (where applicable).

31 July 2026

  • One Stop Shop (OSS) VAT return and payment for the period April to June 2026.
  • Import One Stop Shop (IOSS) VAT return and payment for June 2026.
  • Corporation Tax third-party information returns for accounting periods ending in October 2025, where required.

These deadlines are more than administrative milestones. For larger businesses, they provide an opportunity to review cash flow forecasts, assess tax liabilities and ensure that financial planning remains aligned with broader commercial objectives. Businesses that prepare well in advance are better positioned to manage working capital efficiently, avoid unnecessary interest or penalties and focus on long-term growth rather than last-minute compliance.
